It's been over six weeks since I set foot on Kiwi soil again and this blog and its internal wiring remains as dormant and unprovoked as Simon Cowell's sense of human feeling.
That's not a great joke and not a very auspicious start to what is sure to be a Herculean effort to bring you up to speed on all the thoughts, feelings, wheelings and dealings of the past months.
In the meantime, here's a better joke:
"Crime in multi-storey car parks? That is wrong on so many levels."
